We could always move Max into CM just in case there is an injury, otherwise that means Lowry will be playing 90 minutes.

Good call, forgot he can play midfield - it would give the other CM license to get forward.

Also Richards can get some minutes at centre back.

Plus I imagine Gurrieri can play in central midfield if desperate.

Yes he could move Blanchard or Nelson into central midfield, but then he is making 2 changes to solve 1 problem should it arise. I believe many fans
see a lot of potential in Copp and i find it hard to believe he hasn't been given a chance yet.
Anyway good luck to those that are playing, hoping for a win tonight.

No central midfielder on the bench, i guess Jordan Copp really doesn't figure in Fletchers plans.
Or he just doesn't feature in his plans YET. Fletcher gave him a pro contract in May and the lad is only 18.

For all those who are rejoicing at 4-4-2: were you that happy after the loss to Aldershot, poor draws with Dagenham & Wycombe and the dismal loss to Wimbledon playing 4-4-2?

Or after the free flowing wins over Aldershot, Barnet (second half) and Rochdale under 4-2-3-1?

4-4-2 ain't the Amber Nectar. It can work yes, such as Morecambe, Northampton second half and Barnet first half. But it can also flop, see the examples lifted above. 4-2-3-1 can flop, ala Rotherham/Dorchester but can also do well as listed above. I really don't think we should be celebrating one formation as so much better than the others given the very mixed results of them each, just my opinion. I think some people are looking on 4-4-2 with very rose tinted spectacles. Let's just hope it wins tonight mind.

The one thing I am annoyed about in a 4-4-2 is that Gurreri is starting. He only works in a 4-2-3-1 in the ACM.
