We look fluid, been some excellent passages of play. New boys Miller and Azaz been involved a lot and bring something different to the team. Rest of team playing well, Hardie pick of the rest.
We're the better side, the signings have improved us. The question mark is can we finish more of the chances we create and can we play this fluid football in the the rough house of a League One game.
Half time. Very acceptable. No one off their game. Randell very competent, Butcher neat and tidy beside him. Azaz looks like a proper player and Miller a good acquisition too. Perhaps showing that Mayor can slow attacks down. AzZ and Jephcott making the second and third frontman and have linked well on a couple of occasions.

We are the better side and created more chances, some of these long range shots.
It's a solid formation that can quickly spring into attack.
Randell is having a great game, helped by the insurance of another midfielder beside him.
Miller had a good half and he's also taken the sole free kick and corner.
The interchanging of positions is different and interesting.
The formation 3-4-2-1 can be attacking or defensive.
For a friendly it's quite intense.

Playing well so far, I do like Randell as he has excellent touch at playing out of tight situations.

Yet l have to say l like the balance of play we now have. Sometimes we look for the ball over the top. Other times we look to break the press and play through the middle.
This formation we two players sitting in front of the back 3 allows us more passing options when we are looking for short interchanges. When we have just one player sitting in front of the back 3 that player often gets swarmed. And so then we have to look for the longer ball and so it much harder to keep possession.
Miller keeps on putting in these decent standard of crosses. My only worry about him is can Argyle keep him fit. However, l do feel now if we keep playing this formation there will be other players who benefit from this.
