Many pre-internet moons ago I used to supply footballing trivia for a long since defunct Sunday Sports newspaper. One of the most amusing old club nicknames I came across was that of Coventry City who once upon a time were known as the 'PeepingToms'. If memory serves I believe it had something to do with the City's connections with Lady Godiva.
