I got one - my phone just made a bizarre noise

It lit up with Emergency Alert - this is just a test- i pressed ok & the noise stopped

It came through on my phone. Dunno what all the fuss has been about. It’s a good idea already used in plenty of other countries.

I got one; closed it and it asked if I wanted to keep receiving them. I said No. Went to settings and allowed me to turn them all off. Mrs Pogle didn't get one.

Yes, I did, also 1 minute early. I thought it would a horrendously loud shrieking noise, which would frighten my cat. He was quite close to my phone and slept right through it!
