Usual performers not performing to usual standards. Wilson, Scarr, Houghton, namely. They nullified Edwards and Grant and we ran out of ideas.

Way too much giving away of the ball in the 2nd half, from the usual performers. Broom was never really in the game. We struggled to open them up.

I'd really consider putting Randell in for Houghton and putting Camara in the middle with Broom. Houghton was undroppable at one stage but he's not been playing to his usual standard of late.

A fair result unfortunately. After an even first half Lincoln had by far the better chances in the second.

But the goals we conceded are frustrating. The first one comes with a simple pass down the wing that had repeatedly caused us problems in the first half and yet nothing done to stop it.

Moments before the winner we'd been in a promising position ourselves. but Broom belts a speculative effort way over from miles out after a shout of 'shoot' from the crowd. Compare with Lincoln's patient build up for the chance that led to their corner.

Very young and inexperienced Argyle side by the end of the game as well. Easy to say with hindsight but a point wouldn't have been too bad and the subs made chasing the win didn't really work out.

We played 10 yards too far back with no support for the front two! So easy to see and an easy adjustment to carry out! Nice goal scored but other than that zero up front.

At least Gillesphey couldn't be blamed today! However, it sounded like the new lad is a very impressive player.

Robbed - but thats our own fault for not taking them to the cleaners first half - out of the play-offs for now - we have a game in hand! Onwards to the next match :) no point disecting this one, it wont change the result. Our new boy in defence looks good and good to have Camara back in the team.

Something not quite working at moment, perhaps we need to get back to a settled side. We seem to have lost some momentum.

The positives - Jephcott first half looked lively and sharp, Randell looked tidy all game, Critchlow looks solid and aggressive. Ennis looked lively at times.

The negatives - Felt like it was too easy to get down the sides of the defence. They probably had about five good chances which we just blocked. We looked exposed down the right today. Conceding 6 in last two games a concern.

We missed Mayor composure today and the running of Hardie. Broom struggled to impose himself on game. I notice the last 3 games we are playing more long balls as we cant always play it through the thirds, which means we struggle to impose our game on the opposition.

Lincoln beat Oxford 3-1 away a few weeks ago, and they have something about them. I think it just shows how tight this league is. Mk Dons lost at home to Donny too today. I feel we are going to need a scrappy win to get us back in the right frame of mind.

Nothing summed us up more today than Broom's embarrassing attempt and them nodding home a basic tap in a minute later with all our players ball watching.

Marquis is the sort of player we should have been in for to get us over the line.
