Played them in 2006 - Barcelona were European Champions at the time.

We definitely didn't play any of the winners of the past 20-30 years when they were champions.

I guess there's a possibility we could have got a cup draw or something against one of the English winners in the 70s or 80s, but seems like this is a first?

Bearing in mind the financial gulf between the European leagues and everywhere else, we're probably only a couple of weeks too early to catch them as (club) world champions as well.
Played the FA Cup winners that year in the fourth round in 2008

It’s a real pity that the trains are going to be disrupted that weekend. London by car is a bit of a pain

Why can't we just revel in the fact that our boys are playing the European Champions in a game of football. For some of our players this game, this experience will be the pinnacle of their playing careers - their hard work is what has given them this once in a lifetime experience.

Schuey who always beams with pride will be over the moon but will no doubt keep a lid on it as we have the bread & butter of the league for the next couple of weeks.

For me Joe leading out the boys on whatever day the game is played is what is important- each player pitting their wits against the creme de la creme of talent that Chelsea as at their disposal fills me with pride

If the game is on TV then the viewing public will be able to see our wonderful team do their thing.

With regard to tickets no doubt the club will do the ticket allocation in the fairest way possible
It won't be the crème de la crème, it will most probably be the reserve team.

Not every season ticket holder will be able to / want to travel, so may be a few left over.
Agree. I've got 3 STs on my account but probably won't go. I might still buy the Chelsea tickets though as my neighbour is a big Chelsea fan and has never been there, he can have mine and I've relations in London that are keen on witnessing the Green Army in action in real life.

Did you see the team against Chesterfield? There’s a reason they were 3-0 up after 20 mins.

I saw the starting 11 and felt sorry for Chesterfield. Thomas Tuchel clearly respects the FA cup. Also let’s not forget we are 2 leagues above Chesterfield.

You are going to use your priority as a season ticket holder to allow a glory hunting Chelski fan in to the away end?

Please give your unwanted tickets to an Argyle fan.
