Spot on.Broom plays - the whole team get 7s and 8s out of 10
Mayor plays - gets an 8, the rest of the team gets 6 out of 10

What - NO strikers??????
Your argument doesn't make sense because 1. You are not taking account of recent form; 2. Garrick has started very few games so you are not comparing like with likeIn the 20 league games we have played Hotdog & Jephers have scored 18 goals between them where as Jordon Garrick has scored 1 (against Oxford) & 2 in cup games
Why would anyone consider not playing them just to fit Danny & Va Va Voom in the starting 11- why would anyone want to rip it up & start again just because we have lost 3 games on the bounce
We have been creating chances but have fluffed them- Hotdog & Jephers will be aware of this & will be determined to put it right- not every striker is going to score from every chance created
That's the crux of it, I agree. The Broom or Mayor or both debate is a sideshow, really. We have made great strides over the last couple of seasons.I like both players but the unbeaten run was against some average sides and some bigger names that weren't on form. We've now played stronger sides who are a totally different ball game.
We all have our opinions...and mine is Mayor out...the guys a hinderance to the team.I think you are being a bit unfair regarding Mayor. I see a team player who also has amazing individual ability and is a real asset to the side.

Couldn't agree more.Yesterday was the first time I feel our manager made a big mistake.
why take one off for the other, surely they can both play in the same team together. Wigan couldn’t believe their luck, every time Mayor got the ball they s#@t themselves and I felt Lowe made the wrong decision in taking off the motm Danny Mayor
I am so pleased I’m not the only one saying this…. He is a massive weak link. Sometimes easy on the eye, but the fundamentals he struggles with ( reminds me of watts )As a matter of urgency we need a new left sided centre back. When Galloway starts a game our record is no defeats at all and Scarr and Grant either side look so much more comfortable. I like Gillesphey as a guy but I am afraid 83% of goals conceded when he plays come through his channel or are through indecisiveness like the first goal yesterday. With Scarr Gillesphey and Wilson we are too one paced. If this is not addressed we will unfortunately continue to struggle and the great progress we are making will be hindered. This is not a personal attack on any player but objective. Forget mayor or broom etc this is the root of all our problems
I agree with this as well. The number of goals that have come down that side of the pitch in the last three games is worrying. As a matter of urgency we need a new left sided centre back. To be fair we tried both from the 74th minute against Wycombe. Broom came on for Jephcott. We conceded 2 further goals and didn’t really threaten.Yesterday was the first time I feel our manager made a big mistake.
