In the 20 league games we have played Hotdog & Jephers have scored 18 goals between them where as Jordon Garrick has scored 1 (against Oxford) & 2 in cup games

Why would anyone consider not playing them just to fit Danny & Va Va Voom in the starting 11- why would anyone want to rip it up & start again just because we have lost 3 games on the bounce

We have been creating chances but have fluffed them- Hotdog & Jephers will be aware of this & will be determined to put it right- not every striker is going to score from every chance created

Your argument doesn't make sense because 1. You are not taking account of recent form; 2. Garrick has started very few games so you are not comparing like with like

It’s a tough one for me ..I think mayor is the best player at the club ..I’ve never been overly bothered by his lack of goals and assists, because as has been discussed many times on here , his role in our attacking play comes just before the assist ..I think he’s brilliant at what he does and at times is a joy to watch .
Having said that , if I had to pick our strongest 11 at this moment in time , in lowes preferred system, Danny wouldn’t be in it. ..I just feel the combination of broom/ houghton/ camara works so well, as the results have proved.
So , in summary, I think mayor’s our best player but I wouldn’t be picking him at the moment…I know , makes no sense to me either

If you're counting just the 20 league games and not cup games it's 14 goals scored between 'Hotdog & Jephers'. It's still a good overall record but Hardie has scored once in his last 9 league games and the exact same stat for Jephcott which suggests both strikers are out of form.

Yesterday was the first time I feel our manager made a big mistake.
why take one off for the other, surely they can both play in the same team together. Wigan couldn’t believe their luck, every time Mayor got the ball they s#@t themselves and I felt Lowe made the wrong decision in taking off the motm Danny Mayor
Couldn't agree more.
Mayor stays on yesterday, we draw at least.
Bringing Broom on sped the action up and Wigan seemed less inclined to double mark Broom, giving them a sudden mini boost of freedom.
Could say Lowe was going for the win, but a draw would have been a very decent result.

As a matter of urgency we need a new left sided centre back. When Galloway starts a game our record is no defeats at all and Scarr and Grant either side look so much more comfortable. I like Gillesphey as a guy but I am afraid 83% of goals conceded when he plays come through his channel or are through indecisiveness like the first goal yesterday. With Scarr Gillesphey and Wilson we are too one paced. If this is not addressed we will unfortunately continue to struggle and the great progress we are making will be hindered. This is not a personal attack on any player but objective. Forget mayor or broom etc this is the root of all our problems

I am so pleased I’m not the only one saying this…. He is a massive weak link. Sometimes easy on the eye, but the fundamentals he struggles with ( reminds me of watts )

Edmonds - I blame the keeper 100%.

Got it, lost it - goal !

On the subject of Mike Cooper - how come he is SOOOOOO slow on leaving his line when defending ?

NEVER see him knocking defenders out of his way to pick up the ball.

Generally, needs to leave his line to defend his goal !

Remember Peter Schmeichel ?

I agree with this as well. The number of goals that have come down that side of the pitch in the last three games is worrying.

To be fair we tried both from the 74th minute against Wycombe. Broom came on for Jephcott. We conceded 2 further goals and didn’t really threaten.
