Women's football is boring, low quality and gets too much media coverage.

Have you noticed on the Sky Sports app league tables section - they have put the WSL table immediately after the PL and before the Championship and the rest of the EFL tables, as if it’s second in status.

Pretty sure we went top of the league that night. I was away on holiday and remember taking a photo of the league table on Teletext.

For the benefit of some of our younger visitors, Teletext was kind of a primitive information service that you got through terrestrial TV back in the day....

There are some ordinary male pundits stealing a living all over the place.
People don't seem to mind listening to their rubbish if they are familiar with them scoring a few goals in the 90s/00s.

Agree. I miss Freathy, he was always good for an alternative opinion. I was sorry to see Oldage disappear this year too, he would be a much more cheerful contributor this season and would be positively revelling in the Broome or Mayor debate.

Not an unpopular view, but needs posting here. I miss Tyhee Slim, that bloke oozed intelligence, class and passion for the greens. Always shared thought out, well articulated posts. A big loss to the green army and this site when he joined the fanbase in the sky.

Fully agree - the standard has dropped rapidly in recent years with seasoned journalists with something interesting to say being replaced by boring ex-players with weird voices.

Most of the commentators are poor too - particularly Mattaface, who spouts continual drivel and stats. he should listen to David Coleman and learn that you can leave some silence/crowd noise instead of talking non-stop.

Football Focus midday Saturday is now rubbish. Do I really want to know where players get their haircut and who their favourite barber is? Or who their best mate is in the team and what their little foibles are? It’s really become kids stuff, and not just because I’ve got older, my own sons think the same.

When I joined Pasoti way back when, it was a place of much mirth and merriment. Full of people like the above mentioned Tyhee as opposed to the old curmudgeonly buggers of today (although, thinking about it, old Slim could moan with the best of 'em, bless him). That is why so many posters used pseudonyms and some, like me, continue to do so. Sorry John.
