It’s an easy excuse, but the kit DOES look very dark. And in these evening games where just the pitch is lit and the stands aren’t illuminated by sunlight, surely the shirts are camouflaged against that darkness.

Football is a game of tiny margins, if players are even slightly struggling to pick each other out instantly… it’s a major problem.

It’s not even the shirts, just white shorts would make sense for an evening game.
