From what I gather he arrived on Monday. DA and the team went north on Monday afternoon and they (the team) weren't back until yesterday morning. So he's had very little training. As we know DA keeps his cards close to his chest anyway.HC Green":26fauj31 said:Interesting that apparently he has been training with Argyle for a fortnight and we haven’t signed him, but Scunthorpe who it would appear haven’t seen him train or play are.

Another dig at Adams, conveniently forgetting that the absence or under effectiveness of Reid for large swathes of the second halves of seasons cost Argyle dearly in both the reigns of Sheridan and Adams and also conveniently forgetting that Argyle's objective was actually achieved without Reuben. Let's see how the entire season pans out at Exeter and indeed at Argyle before getting too regretful about his departure-no question that at his best Reid was a major asset but his best was not seen for long periods at HP. Anyway, perhaps the opinions of someone who stated that Adams had wasted money on keeping Carey in the Argyle fold shouldn't be taken that seriously, possibly another case of wait and see before making judgements.
How is this a dig at Adams. It's fact that he wasn't offered enough of a contract to stay as is the fact he touted himself to every club BEFORE he was "snapped up" by them lot. How were we supposed to know he would come good somewhere else?
And yes Liam, it was a whoosh.

For whatever reason, money, facilities, location, league position or negative manager its another REJECTION and not a good reflection on our ability to compete

Maybe it was partially the other way around and he wasn't sure on us which is why he had a trial. Our training ground, whilst a lot better than it was, is still a million miles behind some in this league and most he'd have been at and that might have put him off.samjones":2pwy2bid said:Whats the chances he starts banging in the goals for them ? Seems odd that the club haven’t really commented on the matter.
Also seems odd that another club on far smaller gates seem far in front of us in terms of what they can offer a player.
So where has all our money gone? Please remind me.
