He's been added now, although he's not on the official club list.

Sadly, not seen enough of Freddie, so went with Phillips even though he's not one of our own. He has, on the whole, dealt with the Championship well, and I see bright future for him in the Prem.
Shame, the club haven't shown more faith in Issaka - I'm sure he couldn't have done any worse than Whittaker/Hardie in the last month or so. Give youth a chance!

It’s a massive thing to break into the first team. So on that respect Issaka & Roberts need recognition.

However, have they played enough games at this level.

KKH seems the outstanding choice, but only here for 6 months. On that basis Azaz should be in contention for player of the season.

Yet the title of the award is in regards to the season but there is no outstanding candidate for the whole season.

So l went with Phillips based on his decent performances for his age. He is only 18 and at times has looked very good. Its just a shame he didn’t have another year‘s experience at a championship club before he came to us. I could have easily gone with KKH who was just as good & his versatility was a bonus. If Freddie played more he would have got my vote.

Ashley Phillips has been the stand out for me and I believe he will have a very good career at the top level. He just needs to learn how to close down shooting opportunities faster.

I can see why Phillips won it but it doesn't paint a great picture of how we've used our young uns this season when someone else's player who has only spent half a season with us wins the award. Same goes for KKH.
