And what tactics should we employ against Norwich ? Go for it and likely get a hammering or play not to lose.

Paul Wilkinson- had him on loan around 1970 but not sure if he played for first team at Norwich.

Barrington Belgrave from Hodgies period in charge - again not sure if he featured for their first team.

Surprised they didn't beat Boro or Blackburn. Just goes to show all the various clichés about this league are true.
Maybe we'll also be an anomaly and beat them tomorrow. Looking forward to visiting Carrow Road.

If we sit back in this one we will get torn apart- they are too good in forward areas and in Gabriel Sara, they probably have the best player in the division- the first to achieve the double this season (10 goals, 10 assists). As we saw in the reverse fixture, the likes of Ben Gibson and Shane Duffy are not the quickest and a high press, much like we saw at Middlesbrough, has to be the right tactic if we are to get anything from this one.
On current form, we could be in for a real pasting, but this is Argyle, and anything from a 6-0 defeat to a 2-0 victory is entirely possible.

In the home game against Norwich,
fortunately their main strikers
Sargent and ex-green Barnes didn't play because of injury and neither did
dangerman Sainz
We had Azaz (1 goal and 1 assist) and Cundle (1 goal) that day plus Mumba none of whom sadly will be playing for us on Friday.
However, on Friday they won't have striker Idah (on loan at Celtic) and
we will have the return of Cooper plus the new additions of Forshaw, Devine, Sorinola, Phillips and hopefully Gyabi.
Play a solid, counter-attacking game , we could get at least a 1-1 or 2-2 draw but we need the energy of Gyabi to move us up the pitch (like at Middlesbrough)
and hopefully our strikers receive better assists and find their old shooting
boots ! Frankly, all of our out field players should chip in with more goals
particularly headers !

I hope the ref gives us the benefit of the doubt in some 50 : 50 decisions to make up for his unfair disallowal of Mumba's perfectly legal headed goal at Southampton !
(Written before hearing the bad news of Gyabi returning to Leeds).

Gyabi out for the season!
We’ll need to play like we did at Boro, and, be more accurate to get anything from this. Going on recent performances, we’re in for a hammering!
God’s speed to all those travelling to Norfolk! 🤞💚

Brought a match day pass for this one
Hoping to not feel as sick as a parrot/canary come full time
Argyle will probably do an Argyle & surprise everyone with the result
For us to be able to score a goal or 2 would make it a very Good Friday
Players will be fired up- hope the Head Coach takes the handbrake off & lets the boys express themselves & play to their strengths

This should be a walk in the park for Argyle.
I mean Foster says we only beat poo teams before he arrived and we beat Norwich 6-2 earlier this season, so presumably he's very confident of a 4-0 win, especially since we are now apparently the away day specialists and apparently also much tighter at the back.
