Totally agree. The incident was right in front of me....handbags at ten paces. To charge either team will be ridiculous but the FA like to screw clubs out of money whenever the can. This is yet another example of where the FA make themselves look very stupid. Football is a physical sport and occasionally it’s inevitable that there will be a bit of agro. This particular incident was handbags and if either team were punished it would be farcical.
Cooper took exception to the challenge when he came sliding in and left his foot in. He stood over the Stoke player as he was on the ground and told him so. Another Stoke player came in and started pushing Cooper which brought Argyle players in to defend him. Mumba got booked when he was a victim of being grabbed by the throat.
I wonder if Cooper took issue because he suffered a major injury from a striker colliding with him?Cooper took exception to the challenge when he came sliding in and left his foot in. Errr only out of certain clubs. Namely none of the so called "elite clubs". Oh no, don't want to "bite off more than they can chew and wouldn't want to upset them. But those pesky football league clubs, nothing but trouble and need to be taught a lesson. Don't they know, we are the Football Association!.Totally agree. 100% this. Pathetic, sycophantic organisation that are happy to dismantle their own historical, world renowned tournament to please 5 or 6 billionaires, whilst throwing the book at smaller clubs. Spineless prix.FA are a joke organisation. Can't control cheating by financial mismanagement within the Premiership, the chaos of scraping FA cup replays with no negotiation or indeed informing the actual participants, Notts Forest accusing referees of cheating etc etc. Ah yes but we will come down hard on two "lesser teams" having a bit of a handbags moment because the referee in charge of the game wasn't able to deal with it. Oh dear, a lot of tut tutting no doubt by the FA followed by a £10,000 fine for each team, what a shame. Financial cheating on an industrial scale by State run football clubs, nothing to see here. Just wait until say Colchester United, as an example, step out of line, the full wrath of the Football Association no less, will crash down upon them. Old boy network joke that's what it is.
