I also noticed a story about another Dean (Dean Hammond) who is in the middle of a legal dispute. Good player, but currently in no mans land!

The story goes that Leicester loaned him to Sheffield United last year, and a condition was that if Hammond played a certain amount of games, then he would be offered a contract for 16/17. The player met the target, but Sheffield United had a change of manager and the new manager does not want the player!

Quite a few angry Blades fans at the moment who can believe the initial loan deal was structured in such a way.

Karl Robinson was on sky news saying that players agents had impacted on 3 deals (involving to/from MK or knock on transfers) not going through by deadline.

Thankfully we play Crawley the day before Cox would be eligible to play for them

He's joined Burgess Hill Town (Isthmian League Division One South) on loan until he's eligible to play for Crawley. What a coup for them.

It won't be if one of those opponents two foots him and breaks his leg out of spite. It happens a fair bit at that level - thuggishness is always a leveller with a cocky talented opponent.
