Hopefully the evacuation don’t last too much longer, but hopefully it’s safely detonated with not too much impact to houses nearby
Hope they have better luck dealing with this one than the one in Exeter a few years ago. That one caused more damage than expected when it was finally detonated

I was born in Keyham (Station Road): Liam from Keyham, they used to say at school. Thankfully I wasn't born in Leigham.
Update from PCC. After consideration the disposal team have decided to remove the bomb, take it to the Torpoint Ferry slipway, and take it out beyond the Breakwater. Everyone who lives within 300meters of the route from St Michael's Avenue to the sliproad has to be evacuated: removal of the bomb is at 2pm, and everyone should be able to return home by 5pm. That is as long as it doesn't go 'boom' en route...
Should be able to see it arrive at the ferry on the webcam!

tamarcrossings.org.uk isn't responding and the Hoe cam doesn't show the breakwater - so no good for the boom!
