Great to see Tommy Tynan doing so well, I feel almost like he's a bit of a forgotten legend nowadays. You hear a lot more about others but he was an absolute star as indeed were Mariner & Rafferty. Big fan also of Trigger who was a (I would argue the) catalyst for our rise up the divisions in the early 00's. Good to see Dwight Marshall get a few votes who was a bit of a favourite in a difficult time.

I’ve been watching Argyle since the early 1950s and feel very privileged to have witnessed the prolific goal scoring of Wilf Carter. He was and still is my football hero. My additional vote must go to Paul Mariner. A very special striker and person.

Could only go on what I’ve seen wiv me own eyes guvnor. So Mariner and Tynan it is with a nod to Chips Rafferty in third. Can’t believe Jimmy Hinch and Greg Campbell weren’t in the mix 🤔

Would have been interesting to see a vote on who is your favourite pair of strikers. I'd guess Rafferty/Mariner would win hands down.

The difference with Tynan and the Mariner/Rafferty partnership was the
expectation they would score on a regular basis when they played.Tynan for his natural ability to be in the right place at the right time and Mariner/Rafferty with their natural chemistry .

Far too many good players to choose from really, some have better scoring ratios than others, some have played more games, some are highest scorers of all time, some are from an era long long ago, so it is difficult to just pick one ,but the question is for your/my greatest striker, well, Bickle, Tynan, Mariner are all up there, but MY favourite is Billy Rafferty, he would have scored without Mariner, as would he without Billy, but they were at their best together.

Going to put it out there, since I first saw Argyle in 91, this is the weakest position in that period. I get Tynan and Mariner were top notch for different reasons but since then, over the last 30 years we haven't thrived in the striking department.
