Appeared a few times up front for Public Secondary 2nd XI, when they were desperate.
Played with and against Trevor Francis in the playground. He was some player, even with a tennis ball!
Moved back to full back in later years and played for The Wellington before leaving Plymouth.
Played 5 and 6-a-side well into my 50's.

Played a couple times for Bugle SW side back in the late 80s (Mike and Billy Dowling were both playing), but mainly their East Cornwall side under Ivor Higman and later, Dave Ellis. I know the Streets. I had one season at Coasters, and another after they became St Austell 2nd team. Played for their SW side a couple times.
I know most of the others you mention but only by name.
I know Ivor Higman very well. We come from the same village hence my username. His son in law is one of the groundstaff on matchdays

I played a lot of football, usually centre forward, but never for any serious league team. Whitleigh Juniors, DHS Boys, Whitleigh Boys Brigade, Geology Interdepartmental (ID) team at Aberystwyth University, 3 year hiatus at UCL; little opportunity in London. Recommenced at Liverpool uni in 1979 when someone I used to play against at Aber persuaded me to play for Civic Design in the Lpool ID league; I also started hockey at same time in the University (ID League champions 1987, 88 and 96) and for a club (Sefton) in south Liverpool. My last game of competitive 11-a-side football was winning the Liverpool ID cup in 1995 in a team of wise old men who mugged some young maths students. Sefton hockey stopped for time reasons after my second son was born in 1996, but I continued playing lunch-time 5-a-side in Lpool uni 2-3 times a week until I did something to my left knee 8 years ago, aged 62. It took 6 months to recover. I now play tennis 2-4 mornings a week - the benefits of being retired and having a tennis club 5 minutes walk away. Football has been my favourite sport to play, but hockey and tennis are pretty good too.
