Thought he looked bright today, has a surprising turn of pace on him too. There may be a grain of truth in Mansfield fans saying he's a solid forward who misses a tonne of simple chances mind you

Thought he looked really sharp in the first half. Some nice movements and flicks, some came off and some didn't, but good to see. Lots of running - his touch map was insane! Looked to be playing centrally behind Pepple at times granting him freedom to attack from both sides.
Was clearly blowing in the 2nd, he probably would have only played 30/40 if Oseni was fit and should have taken the chance on his stronger foot when it came to him - fortunately it didn't cost us!
Great to see him immediately dragging Hartridge over to the fans to celebrate, he's clearly bought in quite quickly.
I have faith that Will will be solid for us this season and back him to score 10+ in the league

Lay off thos fellow everyone. He will be ok..Not Tolly but players like.that at Argyle are once in.a generation.

Absolutely outstanding when you consider hes been here for less than a week. Worked very hard, full of energy. The link up will come the finishing will come.
He has clearly bought into it and could have had a couple on another day. It must have been great for him, White and Hartridge to have that as their debut. To come from Stevenage or Burton Albion and experience that in your first game must be brilliant.

Has a bit of the Jamie Mackie about him. Works hard runs hard but maybe just maybe lacks that clincal edge . Do think we need an out and out striker but i like what i saw from him
Surely we haven't forgotten Tolaj's open goal miss on his debut? I highly doubt that Evans is incapable of scoring a header from three yards or hitting the target from ten on his best foot. Nothing to worry about.
I think some supporters can’t get over Tolaj, i don't think in 20 years time we’ll remember Tolaj as we remember Carter, Gauld, Mariner, Tynan et al, Evans is not a replacement for him and he had a good debut last night.

I think Evans will be a good signing. Looks a team player and I'm sure will get better with game time. I don't care about the miss as Pepple also missed a free header - all players do. The main thing he's getting into position for chances.
His pace and strength got him the first chance. I was impressed with him.
Liked what I saw. His selfless channel running will be very important away from home. Just don’t attempt to compare with Tolaj
He played well and i really liked the fact he tracked back and made a couple of tackles outside our own box, he worked hard all game and will be a really useful addition for us going forward.
