I agree Jon but this league is just total mayhem.

I spent 3 hours on Friday evening really giving some serious thought into the remaining results for the eight teams at the bottom (excluding Rotherham). What a waste of time that was!

How many would have had Blackburn beating Leeds for goodness sake! Mind you, anyone in any of the other teams would have had Leicester slaughtering us!

From what l seen of Blackburn l believe Wednesday have a decent chance of going to Rovers & winning. They have sold 7,000 away tickets for that match.

Birmingham or Huddersfield can't be both above us before we play Hull City.

QPR play Preston at Loftus Road on SKY next Saturday evening. If Preston could get a point then QPR have another Friday night game on SKY, away to Leeds. I would imagine Leeds need to win this to stay firmly in the promotion race.

So even if we lost against Stoke next Saturday there is a chance that Argyle might have two bites of the cherry in order to get the win which guarantees them safety.

In an ideal world you will have at least one club below us in 21st place before the Hull City fixture, meaning there is some sort of safety net.

Although the results weren't great yesterday, they weren't terrible either. Basically, it feels like we got a bonus 3pts as in all honesty l expected us to be sitting on 45pts after Friday nights game.

My only concern comes from the fact that for while l had this nagging feeling Wednesday will survive. It doesn't make sense, given their fixtures after Blackburn. Yet nothing makes sense in this league.

Never understood the twists and turns saying.
I think it's looking increasingly likely that Wednesday are huffing and puffing but have a somewhat blunt edge to them up front.
Huddersfield are just as likely to knock in a win as be battered by someone.
I just don't see a way out for them both.

Probably because of the enormity of the task. Friday was a superb win but we need to keep doing it. Unfortunately those around us have also risen to the challenge. The Blackburn result has thrown me . Looking at their remaining fixtures I had them down as one of the favourites for relegation now anything could happen.

It’s hard to see how anything unusual could happen between now and the end of the season, so yes they should be pretty secure predictions.
