True but feels like this is the case for pretty much all sports, including men's football.
The top few PL clubs are maybe at a point where they could continue quite happily even if no-one attended the games, but everyone else is suspended on thin pieces of string held in place by wealthy benefactors.
Wouldn't take a lot for some of those strings to snap; the coming recession will be an interesting stress test.
