It's a very good start. A continuation of good form & results from last season.

I can't help but enjoy the football, even in defeat like against Burton.

I feel we have built something. I'm excited about seeing Boateng and Baidoo in this team. I also feel stupidly naive that l expect too much from Baidoo, because of a decent pre season.

I don't feel any weight of expectation. I know many Argyle fans are hoping for a promotion push but because lm enjoying the football lm quite happy with what lm seeing.

I know we can't afford to stand still. If you do you get punished. I just feel until we get news of new ownership we are a little in libo because of our financial situation.

Take a club like Huddersfield, backed already by a wealthy owner, and l feel they are in a postion to build on things.

So lm glad we top. But it's very early days and in all honesty l prefer us to just go under the radar a little.

Although l hope we are getting wealthy new owners, l also hope that Simon Hallett is kept on in some capacity, as maybe part owner, because if Cleverley does succeed it's down to him not sacking him & giving him time that Argyle are now in a good place on the pitch.

I think our PTS per game is off auto promotion we should be at 19 we really should have had 17 at the least from last Saturday and God knows how we got beat by Leicester because we were worthy of at least a point there

Interesting you talk about 'enjoying the football'. We all enjoy the win of course but the 1st half yesterday was shocking. And Burton was poor from result and performance point of view. It's hardly sexy football. I get you can't really do that at this level but even so its not a pretty watch so surprised at your comment.

I enjoyed the first half yesterday too. It was end to end, the ref let it flow not blowing up for minor things. Although both sides struggled to string passes together and the ball spent a lot of time in the air I thought it was quite a good watch. It was as exciting as watching Mancheater City passing the ball and recycling it in their own half of the pitch.

Interesting alternative view. Just cant see how its enjoyable to watch 'struggling to string passes together and ball spent a lot of time in the air'

The second half was an improvement because we played more football on the ground and the ariel stuff, life Curtis,s cross was more measured. The first half was a struggle for sure, although granted we had more control by the end of the half.

I don't think going under the radar is a possibility.

Next 5 games will be telling . Wimbledon at home - will they try and play a similar game to Burton ? Two other home games v Hfield and Reading who you'd expect to play a more attacking style . Two aways v Stevenage and Cambridge who while defensive being at home may need to come out .

Happy to call a play off spot now, barring a massive injury car crash. The division is just not that good and we’re not bad.

I have seen a few comments on various threads recently saying similar things.

Find it interesting how not too long ago many were saying we missed an opportunity last season and how with Leicester and Sheff Wed coming down and MK 'moneybags' Dons coming up, this year would be so much harder.

Funny how quickly opinions can change.

Agree, but that's third division football for you.

All games are a challenge, some teams we need to outplay the opposition, some games become a fight.

Yesterday was a fight, and we found a way of winning.

Lincoln had 18pts after 9 games last year, Cardiff had 20, but then again so did Bradford. So we're not too far off and its a funny old game and all that.
