Must be very soon now surely
The worst miss of all time?

The only explanation surely is that either he or someone else he knows had a lot of money on Birmingham winning 2-1
No evidence but I feel certain that Mike Bickle (I know he is some people's hero), Richard Reynolds or Jimmy Hinch must have had a worse miss. TBH I did like Hinch although I don't know why
A horrendous miss. Ade Akinbiyi had an awful miss for Leicester many years ago.
Just watching the football league show... some incredible long range strikes this week

That's the one that sticks in everyone's mind, mainly because it was the first big miss of the Sky Sports age when football was first invented in 1992.
I remember this one from my childhood...
I think missing when the ball is already (almost) on the line is a special skill in and of itself:
The worst miss I have ever seen in person was Chris Porter (of Crewe) around 2018/2019. We ended up winning 2-1.
Yeah that was a bad one. If we’re talking about Home Park then Dom Telford’s miss against Bristol Rovers was also a shocker.
I seem to recall Jake Jervis skying it from a few yards out at the barn park end when he was playing for Wimbledon
If my memory is correct he hit the ball nearly vertical. Corrected in edit, side footed off of the line

How I see it is he scoops it back at the keeper despite having a wide open goal in front of him
