Yes, I love that and it is much better than the Mayflower, which is virtually meaningless to Plymouth and her people.View attachment 22809
A tidied up version of the original.
It reinforces the whole ‘Fortress Home Park’ with the four castles.
‘Supporters’ needs swapping out for ‘football’ but have to admit that it’s a fine example of a club badge.
How do I get my hands on one of those beauties?I still have a few of these repos for sale.
£5 each and everyone who has one raves about the look of them, as it doesn't photograph that well.
Small size unlike the original supporters badge.
Made in Birmingham so not of the usual Chinese made tat you get these days.

Quite, it's not as if the Pilgrim Fathers were even Janners. They were literally just passing through and couldn't leave these shores quick enough.Yes, I love that and it is much better than the Mayflower, which is virtually meaningless to Plymouth and her people.
It's smaller than a 5p but it's beautiful. What coin size would this compare to Ian?
How do I get my hands on one of those beauties?
Sam Adams beer is from Boston. I've never tried any of it. Is it any good? Happy hols by the way.I've been tapping up local knowledge in Boston this week and whilst the Mayflower is inextricably linked to the Yanks psyche I'm not convinced that 'Plymouth' is.
I guess in that respect they share with us the pretty much total insignificance of the Pilgrim Fathers pitstop in our fair city.I've been tapping up local knowledge in Boston this week and whilst the Mayflower is inextricably linked to the Yanks psyche I'm not convinced that 'Plymouth' is.
Just regulation mass produced lagers, IPAs etc, not offensive but hardly anything you’d search out.Sam Adams beer is from Boston. I've never tried any of it. Is it any good? Happy hols by the way.

That probably goes some way to explain why Plymouth Rock and the first settlement never grew into much and remains modest to this day. As soon as they were able to sustain themselves properly they moved up the coast and called the beating heart of their foothold in America Boston... after the place the Pilgrim Fathers actually came from.
Between us and Boston United, they have by far the better claim to the Mayflower badge and the nickname 'The Pilgrims'. We were no more than the 'Gordano Services' of the day.
