We've lost the side advertising bar as we now have the live league table, so we're trying a few new boxes.
The mods have all ranges of devices including the dreaded android but we've had no locking up complaints.
It's also worth noting that we need to keep up our levels of revenue as we do so many good things for Argyle groups etc (this is NOT the Good Deeds Fund, as that comes from some of our members).
For example we've just coughed up £3,000 for the Special Buses. Not some we could even contemplate without us earning from adverts.
We also have high costs for hosting and such like, remember the days when this site would crash on match days with 1500 people trying to get on? Nowadays we laugh at 3000 members on each game day, and the site copes with everything thrown at it.
Quite simply advertising is a very necessary evil.
