Was a Premier League right footed forward with blistering pace at West Brom and scored 14 Premier goals in his prime, He went on to play for Stoke in 2016, but got relegated to the Championship in the 2018-19 season scoring just 5 goals . He moved to Belgium but returned to play for Shefield Wednesday in the 2021-22 season and scored 9 times in 36 games. He left and had spells in India and Cyprus and joined a Slovenian 2nd division team last season. He announced his retirement from football just before the start of the World Cup and is now a coach of his Burundi national team, whom he played for 18 times. He has only just turned 33yrs of age.

A mate has just messaged me saying we are in talks with David Kellor-Dunn from Wrexham.

I don't know his source so take it or leave, I don't care.

He signed for Wrexham in Feb 2026, having left them originally in 2020.

Proven at L1 level, i'd be surprised if we could afford him and I guess he would be of interest to Championship teams. Would be really happy if this was true though.

I think all the other strikers we were linked with were most likely just enquiries should the Evans deal have not gone through. Given that we are almost on the limit for wages with regards to the new spending rules it’s most likely that a final player(s) will probably be a loan where we only pay a small proportion of wages.

Would not surprise me if we see somebody moved on.

Whether it’s a transfer like Pepple or Ross. Or a release of somebody like Pleggy because we quite abit of cover defensively.

Adams mentioned Cleverley needing a plan B, so to have a good ‘10’ in the squad would give us those options.
