7 in, 17 out…

The first eight of the outgoings would probably have been in or around our match day squad if nothing had changed, and at least four of the departed loanees.

Even allowing for a thinner squad, there will have to be quite a few more additions.
It will be interesting to see what contacts Tom Cleverley has in the game when it comes to new loanees.

The point I was trying to make is that I think defensively we seem to have the numbers . Obviously finding a striker is going to be bloody hard . But I’m just asking for people’s opinion on our CM area. I am aware that the city lad might be in his way

Defensively and in midfield we look ok, but I still reckon we may see interest come in for the likes of Mumba and Szucs ... up front, and throughout the squad tbh, I'm not sure where we get 60+ goals from this season.

Do not forget the loan slots will be filled in a few weeks time. Lets hope we still have irons in the fire for a few more players yet ( Permanent Signings).

Bit concerned that Cleverley saying he wants to work with a small squad though. Is this via the Club saying no more permanent signings to him? I hope not. (It probably is not that - but has to be thought about)
