just been looking at the results over the season -

First 22 games(incl 4 in cups) -

2 wins, 4 draws and 16 defeats = 10 points (average 0.455 points per game).

This included 10 defeats in a row in league & cup in just 35 days from mid-august to mid-september.

Last 26 games (since arrival of Purse, Blanchard, Chadwick, Wotton & Hemmings) -

8 wins, 12 draws and just 6 defeats = 36 points ( at an average 1.385 points per game).

If we'd been able to average 1.385 points per game the whole season, we'd now have 61 points and be in the top half of the table.
Add 3 or 4 players in summer, particularly in midfield, and we could be a force next season.

Add the 6 points we'll get as usual from the Excretia & we're looking really good
