<Sigh> It's both actually, I have spent many many weeks in both Southampton and Portsmouth.

Why is it, that most of your posts make you sound so so patronising? Have you ever thought about reining it in?

Scummers actually, but then they reciprocate, as do Bournemouth. It’s a south coast derby thing.
Pretty sure when I was at one of their matches against them years ago, they ran out to the Undertones song - Here comes the S(c)ummer(s).

No we wouldn’t. It’s meaningless in any case. A couple more games but only money grabbing and still only three go up. You will never convince me that a team 10 points behind in the table can get lucky over two games and win promotion. I would love to see a season without play offs for fairness but it won’t happen, too much money involved.

It wasn’t meant to be (sigh). I was just illustrating that all those clubs use it. I spent many many years working there and had navy oppos who were fans of either club who used to call each other Scummer.

You know when you tell me not to be so sensitive………

That article is really damning for Southampton/Eckert. I hope the junior analysts who have been caught up in all of this are being supported in some way. They were probably just delighted to be working in professional football, refusing to do what Eckert was asking of them probably would have led to them losing their jobs and possibly their careers in the game, this isn’t on them.

One member was a former footballer who played once for Boro while on loan 30 years ago before retiring and becoming a solicitor.

One of the others allegedly had represented Boro before in other matters .

My son in law did an internship at Southampton through his final year at Uni there. Worked within Pochitino's set-up.

Just as well phone camera technology wasn't what it is now, or it could've been him being put in that awful position.
