The amount of football which is televised beggars belief as to what a guy with a phone can learn that's any secret.
Just watch their games on TV.
The two points of interest were stated in the reports: was acertain player training and likely to be included in the team, and how they were set up in preparation for the game against Boro. Neither of these could be determined from watching games against a different opposition. The amount of football which is televised beggars belief as to what a guy with a phone can learn that's any secret.

Could be the team who finishes 7th gain promotion next season.Hull finished 10 points behind Millwall in third place. What a joke the playoffs are. The sixth best side in the Championship promoted and will probably come straight down.
The season is over 46 games not 2.But Millwall did have the opportunity of two games to demonstrate how much better they were than Hull, so they can't complain that much!
Ridiculous.Could be the team who finishes 7th gain promotion next season.
No we wouldn’t. It’s meaningless in any case. A couple more games but only money grabbing and still only three go up. You will never convince me that a team 10 points behind in the table can get lucky over two games and win promotion. I would love to see a season without play offs for fairness but it won’t happen, too much money involved.Bravo, refreshing to see someone standing up for the play-offs
It'd almost be worth having a season without play-offs, just to underline to the misery-guts who sneerily begrudge clubs that finish 7th from going up, quite how bad football used to be without them.
From about early March in most leagues every game would be a meaningless dead rubber for all but about four or five clubs at the top and the relegation scrappers. 50-60% of the league with absolutely nothing to play for 2-3 months.
40 years they've been going, 40 years saved from the turgid pointlessness of months of stalemate football... yet STILL there are folk who just don't get it
If it'll shut them up good and proper give us a one season with no play-offs, they'll soon remember howit all was.

I would like 4 up and 4 down throughout the football pyramid (including non-league), with no play offs. That would minimise dead rubber games and be more fair and reflective of the season as a whole.Bravo, refreshing to see someone standing up for the play-offs

Scummers actually, but then they reciprocate, as do Bournemouth. It’s a south coast derby thing.Pompey simply call them 'Scum'.![]()
