I don’t know it’s 100% Waine. I said I believe it is him due to what Graham initially said and then gave you the reason why it wouldn’t be the two you mentioned. It’s not that hard to work out who it is most likely to be.

Anyway this is boring me, so I’m sure it’s boring everyone else.
You could be right. It’s often said he has a good mentality even when not in the matchday squad.
For £11k a week and not having to do anything for it I’d have the best mentality ever.

That’s your view point though. I don’t know, sure those figures will come out at the end of the season.
What is special about this season? Why dont we already have these figures for the many many seasons football has been on tv mid week?

Incidentally there is a full league one and two programme this week with premier league football on TV. Are crowds significantly lower?

I think this is great news for us, can anyone explain why investors who have gone through a number of hoops over many months and paid significant costs to the legal brigade would pull out now at the twelfth hour, I can't, so all things being equal our future as a club is very bright, we could obviously do with a few players back like Cissoko sooner rather than later to give us a boost on the pitch. A win on Saturday would mean so much more than 3 points in the scheme of things. Come on Argyle let's do this,
Pete
Because legal costs, however horrendous to people like us, still represent a tiny percentage of the total sums to be invested - or not invested, depending on what the lawyers discover or determine. They're absolutely essential, like it or not, stick or twist.

I agree, but I cant help in my own mind thinking the pressure is off slightly if we know the cavalry is arriving, just hope the squad dont feel that. Put it this way I wont quite be in the increasingly hopeless despair if we lose to Oxford I would have been had it not been for this weeks events
Surely if they are aware players are coming in it should have the opposite effect?

Agreed - as to why someone might pull out , circumstances can change e.g if the investor (s) is an individual then if they were to pass away then that is likely to change things . Looking at what has been said today in the Herald , it looks like the agreements have been agreed but not signed . Ordinarily you’d think that you’d get the documents signed in readiness but in these days where documents are signed electronically there is less need - that then allows for last minute amendments to be made if necessary.

Four to eight weeks from now. Definitely a chance before the end of the window.
Hallett mentions a likely Christmas delay and that time frame "if we're lucky". So a chance but not a good one. But he also says irrespective of it happening by the end of the transfer window the existing investors will find the money. Question is how much. Anyway, there is reason for hope.

I reckon he'll bridge the gap (with Jane's permission) knowing that the dosh is coming.
There will be money from him and current investors. But deals do fall over at the last minute. I'm optimistic that the dosh will arrive in the Argyle account, but the old saying about colour and money still holds in the digital world.

I'm sure something legal can be written between two parties, after all, the EFL isn't going to say 'no' is it?

What I hope is that we do not lose a sense of urgency om the pitch with everyone thinking it’s all change in January
should kick them in to gear if they have any pride. No one should get too comfortable specially when we have money at hand hopefully helps us move a few of the dead weight on and cut our losses
