That was a very emotional day at Hillsborough in front of the largest Championship crowd of the season (all 24 clubs)

A great pre-match speech by the new owner ending with drama when he said he had one final gift before he left the pitch.

He pointed to the scoreboard which dramatically counted down from -15 points to zero.

Deafening roar! Early reports are that the EFL wiped out the deduction due to the failure of Chansiri to engage with the process.

Thanks to all of those who’ve made generous comments on here.

I got back to Meadowhall with Argyle in the playoffs and was gutted by late goals from Luton and Stevenage.

Commiserations to all Greens, should be an interesting summer.

So they did move the goalposts then? You got bought for Ā£20 million and that’s less then what would have seen you avoid a points deduction, but you’ve avoided one anyway.

Don’t get me wrong I’m happy for you lot

see you lot next season, was a bit of a shock seeing you had got that far up the table when I saw it this morning, shame you missed out but if I'm honest I'd much prefer a trip to yours than Stevenage (still got PTSD from my last visit).

Our negligent and narcissistic previous owner still tried to scupper it and he was helped by some that claimed to be fans of the club (their egos overruled their sense).

Roll on June for the fixtures

They have though, bid was lower then what was needed for the people owes money to get a set amount, you lot was due to start -15 but it got waived so they did move the goalposts.

We will have to agree to disagree but obviously you view on it is probably swayed because it’s your club

the creditors bar the man who caused this have got 25p apparently, Chansiri refused to engage

Right up until I saw the video ā€œcelebratingā€ the countdown to a 0 points deduction I have been fully supportive of the Wednesday fans and sympathetic to their plight. Sadly that countdown has left me feeling sick to the stomach. I don’t know why but I just feel that was tasteless in the extreme.

A friend of mine is a lifelong supporter of Wednesday and I know will be over the moon that this terrible period for the club is finally over but somehow I feel even he will feel this lacks class

Tasteless? If you’d been there and felt the outbursting of sheer relief and happiness from Wednesday fans who had been put through the mill by the actions of DC, I feel you wouldn’t be saying that.

The entire away end joined in the applause too.

I get what you're saying but it seems to be an American way to be OTT on stuff

I know you can say this about a lot of fan bases, but some Sheffield Wednesday fans are delusional.

How can that be if the bids had to be £30 million or what it is to make sure the creditors get 25p in every £ what was owed?

I’m sure if this was another team you lot would say it’s not fair etc.

Like I said we all have to agree to disagree but I’m glad you lot are sorted and got rid of that silly man

Come on Ross. He’s just done a list. Just like we see on here. Not always realistic either. He’s not expecting’em all. 🤣.
I know but C'mon, Lorent Tolaj, Jayden Wareham šŸ˜…šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚. As some have been saying on OT, they're expecting freebies and loans, which would be the correct course of action. Get the stadium sorted, get stable and then go for promotion. If I was a Wednesday fans, I'd want that stadium sorted as a priority
