There were some tweets about Koepka getting US$5 million Ryder Cup bonus as part of his LIV contract, and how that caused the money rift in the US team. They all have more money than they know what to do with (unless you get in to trouble with the bookies). Team Europe seemed way more in it together. After the last tournament at expect the US thought that they just had to show up.

I think it's always been the same Mat. Europe is a TEAM, USA is a group of 12 individuals.

As you say, all of them are rich beyond avarice but the Americans always want more.
