If the Premier League teams don't want replays they can always state before the original tie that they won't play in a replay, if the game is drawn they forfeit the replay and the other team goes through.

If the Premier League teams don't want replays it would make more sense if they could only be drawn at home against another Premier team. So: Liverpool vs Argyle would be played at HP. Liverpool vs Everton at Anfield.
Why would we want that? Less money for Argyle on 18,000 the 60,000

All money to go to the home side. Why should we play Liverpool at Anfield with no prospect of bringing them back to HP?

Not sure your right

https://www.google.com/amp/s/financialf ... b-get/amp/

45% of 60,000 is better than 100% of 18,000 not that we would get 100%
And why would Liverpool play any of their first team at HP with risk of injury and no financial reward

With regards the FA cup 3rd round. Anyone ever wondered why playing Liverpool at Anfield is so cheap? It’s because premier league supporters get the 3rd round free with the cost of a season ticket. When they play at home the premier league team then has to part with less money to the team that in all probability needs the revenue.

A replay ticket cost can be set higher simply because it’s unexpected revenue.

Pretty sure fa cup tickets money gets split in some way

Sure it’s 45% to each club then 10% to The FA.

See Yates who was at Swindon last season has been confirmed as a Blackpool player.

Wonder if Hardie becomes available as result?

Swindon have lost two key strikers this summer now.

Bet your bottom dollar if Hardie is available Swindon will e in for him too !

From rumours in East Somerset, Swindon are in BIG financial trouble.

No we'll get told off for going off topic again!!

This is Rumours so you need to post:

I've been told that Training starts next Tuesday at 8.43 a.m.
Someone said we had signed 7 new players.
My Welsh mate saw Gareth Bale at NRS, it was definitely him because he was eating a leek and daffodil bara brith sandwich!! :scarf:

Ah right thanks Ian.

I remember seeing them on an episode of "Can't pay we'll take it away" sometime ago.
