Disagree with that. Sheffield featured Pálsson and Ogbeta, it can't have been our A team. We didn't know what our A team was at the time in any case...

Cardiff was a man down for more than half of it, and it was the only time this season we've been outplayed (or lost by more than 1) with something resembling our first choice 11, particularly defensively.

My view is that we have to wake up and smell the coffee and do everything possible to never put Pálsson or Ogbeta in the team again. Change system, play players out of position, get a U18 in. Anything. If we keep playing them and they keep getting targetted like today then Rooney deserves to be sacked.
Ive got to be honest, having watched Ogbeta a few times, everytime he plays i feel that i could do a better job than him, he looks amature!

And what pray should he do? These players are letting him down and are not fit to represent the club. Joe Edwards has more passion and fight than the rest of the team put together
He’s defo not arrogant , pretty honest and humble. His natural talent , mixed with a raw street fighting up bringing expects more from the players. So should we. Tactics or coaching aside, bar the academy lads inc Rands the rest should step up.

WR was one of the most arrogant players to ever play in the Prem. And he may have been a bit "rags to riches" but that didnt make him humble at all.

Remember his petulant little winge at England fans during that utterly shambolic display at South Africa WC?

I'll give you "honest"... but thats not necessarily always something in his favour. Maybe he expects too much from players - and given that Victor Palsson was a Rooney signing - his judgement appears completely peed.

I know Rooney is head coach and takes responsibility but to my mind the players have thrown him under the bus. No excuse for lack of fight.
Oh come on. It’s not lack of fight, it’s lack of confidence. That isn’t going to improve by Rooney coming out and saying “if I could have made 11 changes I would have”.

Whenever this club has been successful, it’s been with managers who have made the best that they can with limited resources in terms of personnel and who have created or sustained unbelievable in-the-trenches-together team spirit. It’s not really about coaching; it absolutely is about inspiring players, particularly young ones like most of our squad, and making them believe they are capable of more than they think they are. WR, for whatever reason, just doesn’t seem to be able to do that.

And so he should. He probably can’t believe how they have bottled the last two games. You cannot coach players to give 100% who give up when the going gets tough . Time for a mass clear out even if it means relegation. No players should be bigger than the club.
And neither should a coach who cant coach

Rubbish. It is a lack of fight, effort call it what you like. Cannot pass a ball, afraid to tackle , ambling around the pitch without a care in the world. Probably looking forward to the next international break.I wouldn’t want to “ be in the trenches “with any of them. If the players can’t be arsed why should we?

I’ve been saying this from day dot. Watched him a few times for Bolton too. Got slated on here by some saying there is a player in there. I still can’t see it. Truly truly hopeless
