Loved the way , right at the end when the players were celebrating , he went over to a youngster in the corner of the Lyndhurst and gave him his shirt. Looks like he's a really good guy and is enjoying it here

He has been outstanding. I have noticed though that when he has provided the assist (Oxford and yesterday), he doesn't join in with the celebrations. He stands at the spot where he hit the ball and celebrates by himself, letting everyone know he supplied the cross while the rest of the team hug each other. Most probably nothing. He really is quality and the sort of player we should be aiming at in this league.
Good for him. I find the preordained ubiquitous pan-football 'all run to a corner for the scorers signature TikTok move, then a group snog, then slowly amble back to your own half laughing and joking with one hand over your mouth the other doing a fist pump hand slap funny handshake' thing tedious beyond belief.

Worse still with VAR... when it' given... they 'kin go and do it all over again 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not saying it should just be an emotionless firm handshake, but there's absolutely nothing spontaneous about goal celebrations anymore. Where they go, what they do, the inordinate amount of time it all takes, it's all orchestrated.

Good point. What I guess I meant was more that he wouldn’t pass the silly “no d*ckhead” rule of the Lowe/Schumacher era.
Not sure that's relevant, you can be a real character, perhaps a bit edgy, a hard player even but still pass the 'no n*bhead' rule.
I think people think you need to not swear and go to church every Sunday to be a nice person. Decent people come in all shapes and sizes.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. I think the “no kn*bhead” rule slowly turned into a “no characters” rule, which over time turned us into a team of mice.

Not really sure where you're heading with this Cobi, you started well but then made an insinuating remark he's a kn**head, you had to backtrack and now it's a team of mice haha.
You're a pure genius I swear :)

Pay the money and sign him now if he is keen, frees a loan spot as well
He won't sign.

I suspect that Argyle wanted to sign him on.

It was probably at his request that he moved on loan, in order to remain if we stayed in the Championship, but would allow him to leave if we get relegated.

My take on that Saturday was that he was too knackered to run all the way across the pitch to join the others. Can't remember the Oxford game but on Saturday he was definitely blowing at that point!
I noticed that too.... not a criticism because he worked bloody hard. We have heard MM demands that level of commitment and he is clearly up for it.

playing his best wingback roll he was outstanding on Saturday, now we have the players in defense i think we will see him be one of the best players on the pitch in every game. he'll have a choice of clubs to sign for in the summer just like a lot of our loan signings do.
