The hotchpotch of broadcasters for football in England is crazy. It's fantastic when I'm working overseas and can just watch all the football one channel (obviously it depends on the country). I'm working in Southern Africa quite a bit at the moment, and it's all on SuperSport. You can spend your Saturday afternoon/evening just watching Premier League football on the same channel, and they show you all the goals from the 3pm kickoffs at half-time and full-time as well.

Obviously all this is available to UK citizens who know their way around a VPN too, which is something the Premier League knows perfectly well.

The Telegraph reports an extra 60 matches are likely to be made available to bidding broadcasters to boost the value of the domestic TV rights deal. That would take the total number of games available to 260 out of the 380 played, up from 200.
