Not a great week for Premier League in European action.

Defeats for Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and, of course, Spurs.

Draw for Arsenal and Newcastle.

Liverpool & Arsenal appear best placed to qualify. The other 4 have helluva lot to do in the 2nd leg.

Good performance from Spurs at Anfield today. Deserved the point and showed a lot of heart. A glimmer of light for them.

Chelsea thumped, Newcastle getting thumped (7-2 tonight). Citeh out.

Premier League losing it's belief that the brand is the best in the world.

Both Liverpool and Spurs are winning but not on aggregate

Liverpool cruising 4-0 ahead.

Spurs heading out, unsurprisingly.

Arsenal & Liverpool left to fly the Premier League flag.

Flying the flag for two foreign owned and staffed clubs in a foreign competition...

...depending how one views it 🤷‍♂️

Just a boring competition where the richest most elite clubs from Europe all get together to earn even more money and drive a wedge between themselves and clubs that don't want to go billions of pounds into debt. Hate the Champions League.

Yeah, should be able to enjoy the footballing pinnacle. But I can't because it's effectively a closed shop already and the damage it does to everything below the elite leagues is massive.

The European Super League is here, alive and kicking already. Rich get richer, closed shop for anyone else. I don't bother with it, couldn't give a monkey's which team wins it from the usual suspects. More interested in Parkway staying up.

The Premier League have to today agreed to keep the away ticket price cap at £30 for another two seasons. The cap has meant that away attendances have averaged 91% of allocations (3,000 or 10% of stadium capacity) over the last 12 years.

Why is this type of poo starting to creep back into the game? Its shocking. Lifetime bans for anyone caught up in this ridiculous behaviour and next game behind closed doors. Nip it in the bud before it becomes a regular thing again.

It happens all throughout the leagues, but don’t get mentioned because it didn’t happen in the big leagues (if that makes sense). Yesterday Yate Town v Weymouth got halted due to crowd trouble
