By the letter of the law, it was probably the right decision to disallow the goal. But I still hate it, that happens all the time and it never gets picked up. VAR is wholly inconsistent and it just ruins big moments.
Consistency is the issue here. Two goals here both involving Chelsea, one allowed, the other not.IMG_3444.pngIMG_3443.jpeg

The difference here would be where the ball goes. For the one yesterday, the ball travels EXACTLY where Caicedo was standing originally. For the one against Bournemouth, the ball travels nowhere near where those two Chelsea players are

That wasn’t the referee’s announced decision in the stadium. It was disallowed because Marc Guehi was within one yard of the wall at the moment the kick was taken…. Which was exactly the same when Reece James scored his 95th minute free kick at Bournemouth. The direction of travel of the ball is immaterial. Both infringed Law 13 but only one was disallowed. Without VAR it’s understandable but with it there should be more consistency.

VAR is just 5 points of view instead of just the referee.
Take your pick on any given day.
To much money involved now so the idiots at the top will not change it and look even stupider.

I was completely shocked by how bad West Ham were. They normally always raise their game against us, but they just imploded as soon as we took the lead. Why they signed that keeper from Leicester is beyond me, Areola is a much better keeper, and definitely would've kept the scoreline down last night.

That being said, I loved the fact we scored 5 without Palmer, something we struggled to do last season. Estevao looks a phenomenal talent, can't wait to see how he progresses this season

Sometimes I wonder what game pundits are looking at. Just watching City v Spurs and Ait-Nouri gets an accidental kick on the ankle and stays down. Replays from two different angles clearly show contact on the ankle and the physio is even rotating his ankle checking for movement.

All McCoist - “looks like he may have jarred his knee there”

Liverpool won’t win the title. Defences win you titles and theirs has been left to exposed by the change of tactics

Disgrace of a league. Liverpool spending nearly half a BILLION pounds on transfers. Man Utd spending nearly £300 million. The league is rotten to the core.

a disgrace. Appalling league finish. Hemorrhaging money left, right and centre and can still spend more than Crystal Palace, Villa and Newcastle who finished much higher than them, won trophies or played in Europe. The whole league is for the BIG 6 and no one but. Corrupt.

Bournemouth up to second place in the Prem. How many of their fans would have had that dream 16 years ago?
