So as of today we have 7 slots that we can fill with over 21 players, with any players signed under 21 on perms or on loan not counting towards the 21. Plenty of incomings to come then!

We are 5 players down, we have lost 11 and gained 6. 1st July many professionals are OOC and once the merry go round starts we can get who we need.

If I’ve got my head around that correctly then by my reckoning we still have 4 vacancies in the 22 man outfield squad if no more leave. Two or three may still depart so plenty of scope for more additions yet whether permanent or loans.

Quite a turnover with still more to go...I reckon Mumba, Hazard and Al Hajj to follow by end of Aug. There'll be no relegation hangover that's for sure.

Just scrolling back to see the squad updates at the start of this thread. No surprise that a relegation and a new coach brings massive changes.
Couldn't help giggling at the way the squad is listed....
Our 'no.10s' are Callum Wright (number 11) and Rami Al Hajj (number 28)
Our winger (just the one so far).. is Xavier Amaechi who is actually number 10.

I have to say I am enjoying this pre-season so far. Yeah we lost a couple of players I would rather have seen stay but that was always going to happen after relegation. But feel we have signed some decent new players with hopefully a few gems still to come.
New manager and football director just quietly and calmly (and by the look of it pretty competently) getting on with the job. Such a welcome relief from the circus of a year ago !
