Plymouth Raiders to withdraw from BBL NOW not withdrawing from BBL

Can anyone enlighten me as to why the Raiders did not move to the Life Centre 8 years ago as that letter mentions they should have?

Very good news, but yes it’s notable that they’re referred to as Plymouth with no mention of ‘Raiders’.

Biggsy i was just reading a statement on the Plymouth Raiders Supporters' Club. on Facebook this new club will not be called Plymouth Raiders unless they buy the name from the previous organisation, it appears at the moment that it is a couple of local people who have been invited by BBL to start up a new club, what they will be called or where they will play no one knows yet, supposedly it is possible to play at the Lifecentre.

This is a different team than the Plymouth Patriots who play in the BBL and at the Pavilions, this is a new team who will play in the NBL at the Life Centre.
The Patriots will play in the Premier league, and the Raiders will play in a division 3 South West league, this league will also have a Plymouth Marjons Patriots team. The NBL is broken down into 3 divisions with the 2nd and 3rd having regional divisions
