Really good news that there’s still a team, but shame to see Raiders effectively dead. Interesting that the new owner said ‘green isn’t a great branding colour’...!

The big issue for the Raiders, which forced them to withdraw from the BBL, was the escalating costs of renting the Pavilions, which became unaffordable to them

The new organisation had originally planned to continue with the Plymouth Raiders brand however the transfer of appropriate rights from the previous company was unable to be secured.

Patriots only signed a one year deal to play at the Pavilions, so for next season they have to find somewhere else, Marjons?. To bad that James Brent has'nt followed through on building the ice rink at Home Park as the Patriots could have played there.
