Ryan Hardie please - fitted into our team way of playing so well last season -I believe that his goals got us over the line.

He looked half decent in our Muppet Show defence but personally I think we can do better. I can still vividly remember his headless chicken performance in the second half at Gillingham.

I agree. I wasn't impressed with him. Just over 70 games since Liverpool started loaning him out in 2015. Just 6 games for Luton after they signed him in 2018. I'm sure there's much better out there.

If we ignore the connections to Plymouth and Argyle, the signing of Jones would leave loads of people distinctly underwhelmed.

Hardie for me....the aim initially for next season is to stabilise in this division. In hardie is a player to get us the goals to do this but will RL aim for another promotion??

Agreed.Couldn't see much in him and I would be disappointed if he was the best available.

So EFL Hub reporting we've allegedly offered Blackpool £200,000 for Hardie. I'd be very surprised if we have but would love him to become an Argyle player. He's a natural scorer and fits well into RL's system of play.

He definitely looks more prolific than a certain Scottish striker Argyle purchased several years ago for £300,000 more than is quoted here. Perhaps I should say he was attempting to impress in a higher Division at the time!
