With November almost over and tomorrows match against Chesterfield being the last match within this month, a collection will be held around Home Park to support our players, who have sportingly grown a moustache this month to raise money in aid of Movember :clap: :clap:

Volunteers from: the Green Taverners, The Trust, Forza Verde, The Senior Greens, PASB and members of the Green Army will visit various parts of the ground prior to the match and during half time, to raise as much as we can for this worthy cause.

Please look out for the collection buckets to donate, if possible. We know the players will be truly grateful for your kind donations no matter how big or small this may be.

A collection will be held at the Trust's AGM meeting, the Taverners Suite, the Tribute Lounge, the Far Post Club, the Trust Gazebo (weather permitting) and underneath the stands in both the Lyndhurst and Devonport End.

All monies collected at Home Park will immediately be passed over to the players after the match: and any money raised through the Green Taverners donation button will be passed on to the players, as a cheque, at the end of November.

A large banner has now been made for the collection.

If you see the banner being walked around by the collectors today, (and providing you would like to contribute, of course) please come and make a donation - no matter how big or small this may be .

Every penny raised from the efforts of the players growing a moustache during the 'Movember' month, will help towards the campaign of raising Prostate Cancer Awareness and providing nursing care / hospital equipment.

Sorry for a late update on how much was raised today.

The total amount came to almost £370.00. The club will now hand the collection over to the players, so as they can add this amount to their chosen charity which will be ... the Chestnut Appeal.

On such short notice of the collection taking place, it was a great response from the Green Army, once again :clap:

And we’d like to say a big thank you to the Chesterfield fans too, who also made donations when we ventured into the Barn Park area :clap:

Many thanks to all who donated today ... I'm sure it will be very much appreciated by both the players and the Chestnut Appeal, alike.
