Medals have been removed from cheating Olympians and awarded to the competitors who finished next behind the cheats. Are you against that?

I guess the point is that you can't erase people's memories. I can't stand City and hopefully they'll spend the next 20 years in the Northern League, but the Aguero moment will always be one of the most iconic moments in 21st century football, no matter what happens to the medals.

I suspect they'll find a way to get off the hook anyway.

Not at all. What I am saying is that if you remove one of the titles from Manchester City and for the sake of argument award it to Plymouth Argyle, would that be acceptable to the Green Army? The record books might say that Argyle were champions but it’s worthless without having ridden that rollercoaster and enjoyed the experience.
