Back in the UK from Dubai but first of all, we took a trip to Gothenburg for my son to take part in the Gothia Cup, Europes premier youth football tournament with over 1900 teams participating from all over the world 
They made it to the last of 32.
Then back in the UK, he’s been with the Leicester City academy over the hols, proudly displaying his shirt. They brought the trophy for one of the days.
This will be ours come May!

Being married to a rugby league girl our summer travels conveniently ended in Perpignan to watch Catalan v Wigan. No real segregation of fans outside the allocated Wigan section. A lot of pyrotechnics to welcome the teams on the field and we couldn't see the ball for the first few minutes. For egg chasing it wasn't a bad evening to be fair with a full house of c.12,000 plus. Sadly for my wife Wigan won. For her as a Warringtonian it was like seeing Exeter win.
