If one of our strikers scored 6 or 7 goals across the 8 possible games we have left, and we got promoted, it could completely change the voting. There's always a bias towards recent form in these polls anyway - No one wins POY for an outstanding first half of the season and a moderate second half. I understand why these awards have to be done when they are, but it's a bit illogical to miss out what might be the most crucial games when evaluating the candidates.
