I've only ever seen us win once there. I've seen us play very very badly quite a few times though.

That 0-2 game when Nelse and Mackie scored was the worst though. They were dire and we were direr (a new word invented just for Argyle on that day).

Some interesting stats on the season so far.
Oxford top of the 1st Half table W7 D4 L0 Argyle 7th W7 D3 L2
Argyle top of 2nd half table W7 D3 L2 Oxford 22nd W1 D6 L4

In terms of average minutes leading in matches Argyle 30 Oxford 40m
Average minutes trailing Argyle 17m Oxford 6m

Does this mean anything? Hopefully we can get through to half time unscathed . Stats might suggest Oxford are better than their current position suggests?

These stats do show tho that we are a balanced team in both halves now (compared to last season) with an identical record in both the 1st half and 2nd of W7 D3 L2, although oddly we have only lost one match in reality ( how does that work 🤔 )

Expecting a very tough game on Saturday. We were well beaten in both matches last season, although that now means nothing based on how we've started. Be very satisfied with a point and a continuation of our unbeaten run.

Two scousers locking horns- they know each other very well & no doubt they will be plotting to get one over each other

We are very much a different animal this season - Oxford have always been a bogie team for us & it will be interesting to see who will be given the job of keeping Matt Taylor quiet - yes they have talented players but we have enough about us to hopefully continue the unbeaten run

Be good to have Jephcott and Galloway back in the fold for this one. Also a fit and firing Danny Mayor after his excellent 1st half display on Tuesday could be pushing for a start..

Tough to drop either Broom or Camara if both are fit given how pivotal both of them have been to our good form.

I've been to the Kassam Stadium 3 times and have never seen us score, I'm unable to go this Saturday so it's a good omen!

Seen us win there and seen us lose horribly too. Think it'll be an even game. I'd also take a point, let's go 1-1.

Be interesting to see what RL does with Mayor and Camara. Mayor looked unstoppable Tuesday night, but maybe he's not fully fit. Camara has been awesome this season but I think he'd benefit from a rest. Is there any formation that would let Broom and Mayor play together?
