Tell me you haven’t watched it without telling me.
As the doc pointed out.
He actually said there won’t be a hurricane - there wasn’t. He did say there would be high winds - there was.

You must bore yourself sometimes from that high horse. Jeez.I think the biggest cry-babies here are the ones blubbing because a game of football got called off.
If you want to prove how 'old-skool' you are you can still go for a walk on a promenade somewhere, added points to you if you manage to waste thousands of pounds of someone else's money on a rescue mission and endanger some emergency service workers.
And I think everyone agrees with that. I’ve been joking all day, but as the day has gone on it obviously is getting a more serious situation.I knew someone a few years ago who was driving in stormy conditions on a main road in Devon when a tree was blown down just in front of them. It crushed the car immediately in front of theirs and the driver of that car was killed.
People saying it's fine to travel in such conditions just don't have a clue really. It's sad to say, but it's highly likely that somewhere in the country tomorrow at least one person will be killed as a direct result of this storm. It's crazy to travel in the region of the Amber and red warnings unless you absolutely have to.
Struggling with being told there is a threat to life? What a strange mentalityBlimey panic text from.the government. I ask you have we never seen high winds before .I'm struggling with society tbh.
As for the game perhaps they should have waited although the travling Oxford fans will be happy. I suspect Oxford the team were probably in the vicinity somewhere.
I agree. The mind boggles doesn't it. Probably one of those that goes to walk the harbour walls to watch the waves lapping up in 70mph winds.Struggling with being told there is a threat to life? What a strange mentality
I’ve had two car journeys in my life that I regret based on the weather conditions, one a blizzard between Ottawa and Montreal where I just followed a truck as it was clearing a path on the snow, and the second was pure sheet ice driving Vancouver to Whistler, best part of 20 miles at 10 miles an hour. The later it was actually safer to keep going than to try and stop and turn around .I knew someone a few years ago who was driving in stormy conditions on a main road in Devon when a tree was blown down just in front of them. It crushed the car immediately in front of theirs and the driver of that car was killed.

They won't be travelling down in that weather. The weather in Bolton and between there and Bristol isn't due to be as bad. By the time the Bolton fans would be due to arrive in Bristol the worst of the weather would be due to have finished based off the forecast.why is bristol rovers game still on,bunch of idiots.Expecting bolton fans to travel down in. this weather.Well DONE to argyle calling off the game so early
Pretty wild and windy here in middle earth, (binning work today, out tomorrow instead) I guess the Bolton fans will detour via East Anglia to avoid the worst of the storm. They won't be travelling down in that weather.
