And that's fine as long as we can find someone who can provide Dale's workrate and a better end product.

Dale has his critics (I'm one of them), but it can't be disputed that he was key to the system that saw us surge up the table.
Not sure he was key. No one can question his work rate or character but more of a squad member rather than a starter. Open minded as to whether he signs or not but decision time.

Agreed, he did a job and had a passionate energy, but I think you could have put a number of alternative league one players in the same position and gotten the same output.

Personally I don't think his performances warrant more than a going rate/ fair contract. For his energy and knowledge of the team I'd be happy to see him back though.

Looks like his wage demands are going to be his downfall.
Well he’s effectively unemployed now so he needs to be realistic about his demands. We have no idea what terms we or Orient have offered him but he would have likely been on in excess of 5k a week at Oxford. It’s unlikely that he will get near that at a league 1 club especially with clubs having to tighten the purse strings so there needs to be a compromise.

Exactly, any wage is better than no wage. I see he's still down here, if him and his family enjoy it here so much and want to stay he needs to be more realistic about his demands. If taking a cut means he has a wage in a place he wants to be then that's what he will have to do.

Maybe he will need to lower his wage expectations if he is still unattached come the end of the Transfer Window
