All the nonsense about the pitch comes from Liverpool looking for excuses for getting beat. The only issue with the pitch is the lack of growth due to the lack of sunshine in the last month. Probably having training on it during the week and the women playing on it tomorrow doesn’t help.

We’re a championship club not league two. We should have a pitch the befits a championship club. We spent a lot of money on it last summer. Why is it in poor condition.

It’s a stinking day out there today with loads of rain coming down and we have the women playing on the Pitch today. Two games in 2 days can not be good for it especially in weather like today.

I think the pitch looks worse from the Lyndhurst camera seeing the highlights of yesterday’s game.

You can’t blame the pitch for the poor football on show. Just an excuse.
To be fair our Eastern Bloc signings are not as good as the first couple of games they played.

I’m not blaming the pitch, the ball was hardly on it in the first half. I’m pointing out that it’s not going to get any better by being played on twice in two days.

Mind you the pitch will have a couple of weeks to recover hopefully. Not like the old days though when by now it would have resembled Blackpool beach or maybe I should have said Bantham Beach, make it a bit more local.
